Try not to use moisturizer on the areas of your skin that are affected by acne. If you must use a moisturizer, make sure that it is not acnegenic. Use of topical treatments such as medicated spray on the areas of skin where you get acne can also help. When it comes to washing, it’s good practice to wash the skin only gently using a cleansing product or a mild soap. During washing, be sure to use warm water (not hot water) and wash twice a day.
