What Is Acne?

Although most teenagers experience acne at some point in their youth, this condition can also affect adults. Acne is universal, it affects men and women almost equally.

The correct name for acne is Acne Vulgaris. It is characterized by lesions that erupt on the skin. The lesions may be white, the shins, or cysts which form because of clogged pores.
